About Me

I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Sociology with emphasis in Juvenile Delinquency and Treatment. My career as Doula began after the birth of her first daughter in 2002. I now have two daughter’s ages 5 and 2 years old. My husband George is an awesome advocate of Doula services by supporting me when with my business of being on-call 7 days per week, 24-hours per day.
I completed the DONA International Birth Doula Training course in 2003 and have been certified since 2004. I am the outgoing President and Treasurer of a local birth organization called Doula Association of Central Oklahoma (DACO).I have also served as the Oklahoma State Representative for DONA International. Currently, I am training to become a Postpartum Doula and Doula Trainer with Maternity Wise. I teach Childbirth Educating classes for Central Oklahoma Healthy Start Initiative and travel around the city to teach Attachment Parenting classes and seminars on contributions Doulas provide to the community.
As an independent Doula I amwell known and respected and have received excellent feed back from clients, nurses and doctors throughout the Oklahoma City area. Both professional and client references are available.
